Executive Director, International Zinc Association
Dr. Andrew Green is the Executive Director of the International Zinc Association (IZA), a non-profit organization representing the global zinc industry. In this capacity Dr. Green aims at providing sustained value to IZA Member companies by developing and protecting the global markets for zinc through Technical and Market Development, Environmental, Sustainability and Communications programs.
Prior to this Dr. Green headed IZA's environment, health and sustainability activities, as well as the ZNI program focusing on addressing food nutrition security issues through the increased use of zinc in agriculture.
Before joining IZA, he was an Assistant Research Professor at the University of South Carolina as well as a National Research Council Post-Doctoral Researcher.
Dr. Green received his Ph.D. from the School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. He has authored/co-authored more than 27 peer-reviewed journal and book publications and serves on numerous international health, nutrition and agriculture workgroups and committees.
